We know you love a good ghost story and we know you love the Village, so what could be better than a charming story featuring a ghost set in Greenwich Village?  Join us this Wednesday evening for an exciting book talk by Lorna Graham as she discusses her fiction debut, The Ghost of Greenwich Village, which will be available for sale & signing.

Here’s a little sneak peak: Eve Weldon moves to Greenwich Village after hearing her mother’s stories of living there in the 60s among artists and writers. When she arrives, the only writer she meets is a cranky ghost named Donald, a Beat Generation writer who haunts her small apartment, and the only writing she manages to do is for a morning news show called Smell the Coffee. As she struggles to balance her job, her search for clues to her mother’s past, and Donald’s incessant demands to help him finish his life’s work, she soon learns that community can come in all different forms and the true magic of the Village is eternal.

Looking forward to this event here at the office got us to thinking- you Villagers must have your own personal ghost stories or tales of persons past who once resided in your home….Share them with us!
