(See Abingdon Square Park, which is a lovely and popular walk-through for people who would otherwise be using the sidewalk outside it.) If the AIDS memorial is in a cul-de-sac it will be experienced by far fewer people. Even if the memorial is put in one corner of the park, there should be an entrance to the park at that corner.</description>

		<description>I have been away from the East side for 45 years , I would be lost, most of the land marks I knew are gone. My old apartment house has become a church, Cooper Union has  built a  very modern building in place of the old architecture building but the old ale house is still standing on 7th street. The street looks better with the trees and I understand a big food
interest has grown, thank you,
