07/25/2017: At today’s public hearing, the LPC took no action on this application and ask that the applicant revise the application and present it at a future public meeting. All of the Commissioners stated that they felt the design needed to be reconsidered, and the majority said that they thought the building was out of scale for the neighborhood. Some spoke of the monotony of the design and requested refinements that would make it more appropriate to the context of Hudson and Charles Streets.  Finally, several commissioners asked that the penthouse not be visible from the street.
