Welcome Andito Lloyd, Our Newest Staffer!

Today we are thrilled to welcome Andito Lloyd – our new East Village & Special Projects Director – to the small but mighty GVSHP team! Andito will soon become a very familiar face to many of our readers, as she will be leading the force to preserve the unique, special character of the East Village that we all know and cherish. Andito will also be helping with preservation initiatives in the South Village, the West Village, NoHo and Gansevoort Market.

Andito worked in corporate communications for many years before following her heart and making the big leap over to the non-profit world. She has since earned an M.S. in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute, and brings to the table a wealth of preservation-related experience gained by working for various local community groups in addition to the Landmarks Preservation Commission and the New York Landmarks Conservancy.

We are so excited to have her, and can’t for the neighborhood to meet her! In the meantime, Andito can be reached at alloyd (at) gvshp.org.
