At their public hearing on June 14th, the Landmarks Preservation Commission voted to approve the proposal.

Status as of June 3rd, 2011:
The Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on this proposal, originally scheduled for June 7th, has been postponed until June 14th.

Status as of May 31st, 2011:
The applicant presented the proposal at the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee public hearing on Tuesday, May 31st. The proposal is to remove all existing white brick and replace it in-kind. The new brick would have a layer of insulation behind it, so would extend approx. 4′ further outward than the existing brick. The ventilation grills shown in the proposed elevation were (according to the applicant) approved as part of a master plan ca. 1990.

This application is scheduled to be shown publicly for the first time at the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee public hearing at on Tuesday, May 31st, 2011, at 6:30 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 151-155 Sullivan St. Lower Hall (as these details are subject to change, please visit the Community Board’s calendar for the most up-to-date information).
