This 1911 two-story brick store was built by architect G.T. Goosey for Charles H. Benke and Rudolph C. Faber. Erskine Press was likely the building’s first tenant. The building was also home to The Villager and Gemor Press, the personal printing press of leading 20th-century female author Anaïs Nin.
