12/17/2020: At today’s public meeting the slightly revised application was approved.

02/06/2018: At today’s public meeting, the LPC approved the revised proposal with the modification that the applicant work with the staff to reduce the height of the penthouse.

07/25/2017: At today’s public hearing, the LPC took no action on this application and asked that the applicant revise the application and present it at a future public meeting. All of the Commissioners stated that they felt the design needed to be reconsidered, and the majority said that they thought the building was out of scale for the neighborhood. Some spoke of the monotony of the design and requested refinements that would make it more appropriate to the context of Hudson and Charles Streets.  Finally, several commissioners asked that the penthouse and rooftop mechanical equipment not be visible from the street.
