If you haven’t already, be sure to reserve your tickets for GVSHP’s 15th Annual Village House Tour Benefit, our annual fundraiser to support our continuing education and advocacy work. The event will take place on Sunday, May 5th, and on this self-guided tour you’ll gain access to six unique Village homes.

Some of the highlights include: a stately Italianate home with superb historic moldings and floors discovered and preserved during its recent renovation; an airy and effervescent townhouse with a style as playful as the family that lives there; an 1853 home with a minimalist, serene décor and an exquisite central staircase; an eclectic 1838 Greek Revival with Bohemian charm; a duplex apartment filled with treasures found both locally and abroad; and an elegant townhouse with classical details modernized for family living.

For those who support the tour at the Sponsor Level and above, day concludes with a cocktail reception at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise on Greenwich Street.

In addition to enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres, on display in the gallery is a solo show from artist Elizabeth Peyton.

Over her career, Peyton has crafted a broad range of remarkable portrait work in oil, watercolor, and pencil. Her work frequently depicts famous individuals from a variety of fields as well as her close acquaintances, and this show at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise is no exception.
